The Macmillan Academy SEND department is highly experienced. The department works primarily with high needs students, those with an EHCP and those with additional special educational needs and/or a disability.
The department is well resourced with a Learning Support Base, a classroom, an office and a range of specialist staff.
The SEND team works closely with Post 16 staff who provide support for students at KS5 who require a personalised curriculum and the resources to achieve their potential.
