Inspiring facilities for Post 16 student use.
We offer an outstanding range of facilities for student use.
We have a wide range of facilities for all our Post 16 students to use on their leaning journey with us. Through performing arts, sport, our Post 16 cafe, Student Union or our Post 16 Library for independent study, they have everything they need to be successful whilst in Post 16.

Our theatre and main auditorium is a fully functional performance/presentation hall which includes state of the art digital technology and seating for over 225 people. In Post 16 this space is used for our briefings, drama lessons and extra curricular events.

The Post 16 Library is our independent study space. Students come when they have a free period or if they want to do independent study. The Library is equipped with subject specifc resources and a suite of computers which students are welcome to use at anytime.

The Student Union is our own student led facility. With a dedicated space for student to work and socialise.
The Student Union body run a range of clubs, activities, social and sporting events as well as fundraising for charitable causes throughout the year.

Barista's is our Post 16 only coffee shop and is the perfect place to unwind, have a bite to eat and catch up with your friends. Barista's service a wide variety of drinks, snacks and meals all with healthy options available. We cater for all dietary requirements.

Media Suite - We have a state of the art media suite where weekly academy broadcasts are made. Aspiring journalists, tv and radio presenters and media students can often be found helping out our experienced studio staff. There is even the chance to be a Post 16 presenter!

In Macmillan Post 16 there is access to a wide range of fantastic sports facilities, whether it be the rock climbing wall for A-level PE, the full size astroturf for football or the sports halls for inter tutor group sports tournaments, you will find something for all.
