Each year EDF take apprentices on to our 4-year flagship apprenticeship scheme. This apprenticeship covers 3 different trade areas – Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical. Applications for this scheme open on 27/12/2024 and close on 16/02/2025.

For this intake we have decided to do something a little different.

If you are interested in Engineering and are looking for an apprenticeship, we would like to offer you the opportunity to join us at the Power Station’s Visitor Centre.

Here you will receive an introduction from the Station Director / Plant Manager, a brief about what we have to offer, an opportunity to talk to previous apprentices who have completed the scheme and take part in a site tour of our turbine hall. You will also get to see our workshop facility, where the apprentices work alongside qualified technicians (this part of the tour is bespoke to these sessions and has never been offered before).

There will be three sessions available on the 25th of January 2025.

If you are interested in taking part, please book yourself onto one of the available sessions via the below links. Tickets are limited to 2 per person. All sessions will be first come first served when booking so please don’t leave this until last minute as you may not get the session you would like to attend.
 
Once booked, we will be in touch with a small form for you till fill out and to advice you on what will be needed to access the site.
