This course is designed for students who have not yet achieved a 4 in their GCSE English and/or mathematics.

This course is designed for students who have not yet achieved a 4 in their GCSE English. You will take an appropriate qualifi cation in one year. You will develop your ability to think analytically and to comment on a range of texts, as well as developing your writing skills. You will also complete a portfolio of writing.
We offer the opportunity for students to re-sit their mathematics GCSE, which is a linear course with two examinations and no coursework. You will attend two lessons per week and be able to sit the exam in either November or June.
You will be assessed by examination.
