Who I Am Now
I’m a Management Consultant working for the world’s largest Professional Services firm – Deloitte, within their Value Creation Services team.
My Journey
After my time at Macmillan, I spent 4 years studying Chemistry at Newcastle University followed by another year completing a Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Leeds. After graduating from Leeds, I started my career as a Process Engineer at a manufacturing company, then moved into a Project Management role at Tata Steel. While working at Tata I had the opportunity to work with several management consultants and thought “I’d love to give that a go”. I then applied for consulting roles and joined Deloitte as a Consultant in February 2020. I’ve now been with the business for nearly six years and have had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest companies in the world.

What Matters
I’ve never known exactly what I wanted to do in my career, and I’m still not completely sure what my next step will be – but I’ve learned that’s okay. As long as you keep taking positive steps in areas that you’re passionate about, things tend to work out in the end. After all – life is a journey, not a destination.
So, my advice would be: work hard, stay curious, and don’t worry if you don’t have everything figured out yet
