Year 13 Results

Once again, Macmillan Post 16 are thrilled to announce the fantastic achievements of our Year 13 students in their A-level and BTEC examination results today.

The hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students have led to a set of excellent results, reflecting their commitment to academic excellence over the past two years.

The Class of 2023 has showcased their passion and determination, achieving strong results across a diverse range of subjects. This success is a testament to the combined efforts of our students, their families, and our dedicated teaching staff who have provided support and guidance throughout their educational journey in Post 16.

Notable individual accomplishments include four students who have successfully met the entry requirements to study medicine at Liverpool, Hull/York, Sunderland, and Queen Mary's.

Mrs Alex Scott - Head of Post 16 said the following, "the achievements of all our students are not only a testament to the exceptional capabilities of the cohort but also reflect the dedication and support provided by our teaching staff and tutors. We continually strive to create an environment that fosters both academic achievement and personal growth and this culminates in the successes on Results day."

Mrs Rachel Coning, Headteacher said "we are very proud of our Year 13 students; they have worked exceptionally hard and have been fantastic role models to our younger students. It is brilliant to see students going on to do a range of interesting and exciting things and they do so with the best wishes of everybody at the academy."

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to everyone in Year 13 for their accomplishments and wish them every success for their future.
