Celebrations for Eid continued for Post 16 students on Monday 17 May. Baristas was the centre of the celebrations. Henna painting, done by some very talented Year 12 students was available, and a tasty menu of authentic cuisine could also be enjoyed by staff and Post 16 students alike. Decorations added to the celebratory theme.

Mrs Hill, Post 16 Student Support, said, 'we are such a diverse, multi-cultural sixth form and everybody enjoyed joining in with the celebrations. I have been assisted with all of this by Mariam Hussain, a Year 12 student. Mariam has also done a fab vlog about the history and traditions of Ramadan and Eid, which has been really well received, not only by Post 16 students, but by staff and lower school students too.

The atmosphere has been brilliant and I think the sweet pouch treats for students has made everybody happy!'
