Post 16 Charity Work!
Good causes are never far from our minds in Post 16.
During the ongoing pandemic, students have taken part in events and dug deep for some valuable charitable causes.
At the end of September, the Big Post 16 Macmillan Coffee Morning became 'virtual', with students enjoying treats and drinks in their tutor groups. To support the #HelloYellow campaign, aimed at raising awareness of mental health, both students and staff wore something yellow.
Finally, at the end of last time, students took part in the Race For Life. Three laps of the Macmillan site was enough to complete the usual distance, with the reward of a lovely shiny medal at the end of it. Over &pnd;500 has been raised in total, which is a superb effort in these unprecedented times. Well done Post 16!
