Entry Requirements:A minimum of a 6 in music at GCSE or the equivalent. Grade 4 standard on ABRSM/Rock School/LCM.

About
The complete A level consists of 3 units which will be spread across the two years. These units assess performance, composition and appraising – including listening and the historical study of music.
The expected standard of performance is grade 6 in preparation for the live recital. Two compositions should also be completed, one is free choice and one is based on a set brief.
It is also possible to tailor the A level by specialising in performance or composition and your chosen area will have a higher weighting.

You will be assessed on composition, performance and in a listening examination
